The Cathedral
This is one of the most recommended dives in Tenerife due to its incredible rock formation and spectacular sea bed. It is an underwater cave over 20 metres high of volcanic nature on the island that is made up of vaults, columns and basaltic arches reminiscent of a submerged cathedral. It is located only five minutes from Puerto de la Cruz.
The Tabaiba Wreck
It is a fantastic place in Tenerife to dive, Tabaiba is a city located in the northeast of Tenerife, an ideal place to make a dive. The wreck of Tabaiba is a boat called the Peñon that was sunk years ago to use it as a natural reef and to promote diving, it is located at 32 meters deep. It is a unique experience to dive in a wreck, you can access the interior and tour the bow cabin and the engine room, you can also observe the marine life that is concentrated around the boat; octopuses, rays, crabs, schools of fish and many more.
Puertito Armeñime
Do not miss the spectacle offered by this small cove in the area of Armeñime, you can dive with green turtles and up to 20 kilos of weight, the beach is of volcanic origin, black sand and its waters are clear and calm, is an ideal place for diving and snorkeling, with a length of 130 meters approximately. The marine reserve of Puertito Armeñime is surprising, that’s why we recommend it 100%.
The Garachico tunnel
We recommend this route for the more advanced divers, it is an imposing underwater volcanic tunnel of 80 meters long, it is a wonderful route where you will be surrounded by volcanic rock. At the entrance of the tunnel you will have to use a torch due to the darkness that reigns between the columns of this tunnel, the route takes you to the end with impressive contrasts of light coming from the opening in the tunnel’s ceiling.
Kayak
It is a very exciting and fun sport, one of the most exciting experiences you can have if you come to Tenerife, visit incredible places and appreciate the beauty of our island from another point of view. Without a doubt, it is a perfect option for the more adventurous in search of adrenaline. We have a list of places where you can practice kayaking.
The Giants
Enjoy the views of the cliffs that range from 300 to 600 metres high while you kayak surrounded by crystal clear waters. This place is home to an impressive natural richness, ideal for kayaking and contemplating the beauty of this great wall and the best thing is that you can also enjoy the sighting of dolphins and whales. Los Acantilados de los Gigantes is our favourite place to practice kayaking, snorkelling, although you have different places to do this exciting activity in: Caleta de Adeje, Las Galletas, Radazul, Playa de las Teresitas, Los Cristianos and El Palm-Mar.

Path to Teide
The Teide National Park is an obligatory stop if you come to the island, it is the most visited park in Europe and we already know why, it happens to have a unique and unmatched beauty, it is a route of craters, petrified lava that surround the Teide Volcano, it is a World Heritage Site and is the highest peak in Spain. Very important, in order to climb the highest peak you must obtain prior authorization which can be requested on the National Park’s reservation website. We recommend that you make this request well in advance.
The Path of the Enchanted Forest of Anaga
It is one of our favourites because it seems like a fairy tale, it is a magical forest that will enchant you from the first moment, you will find Anaga Rural Park, declared a Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO, the perfect place to practice trekking and discover mysterious landscapes. The approximate time to walk the path is 2 to 3 hours, the park has several stops to stop, rest, contemplate the landscape and take pictures, each corner is completely different.
Paragliding
Tenerife never ceases to surprise us, there are always super fun plans full of adrenaline, like paragliding, if you dream of flying and feeling the freedom in the air, dare and take the step to live this wonderful experience of flying, contemplating Tenerife from the sky is another way of getting to know the most amazing places on the island from another perspective, you will enjoy the landscapes, the peaks, the volcanoes, the beaches, and the coasts of the island.
For the more daring and fanatical, we recommend taking off from Mount Teide at an altitude of 2200m, considered to be the highest in Europe, an experience that will leave you breathless. However, there are other takeoff points at an altitude lower than Mount Teide, this option will be perfect for beginners or the undecided.
Golf
